Dosage & Administration
- Initial dose 200mg per day for hypercholesterolemia
- 67 to 200mg per day for hypertriglyceridemia
- Dose individualized according to patient response
Interaction
- Potentiate anticoagulant effects of warfarin
- Improve glucose tolerance when administered with antidiabetic drug
- Increase nephrotoxicity of cyclosporine
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Fenofibrate
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment
- Existing gall bladder disease
- Breast feeding mothers
- Photosensitivity to ketoprofen
