Indications
- Add-on therapy for stable angina pectoris
- Symptomatic treatment for inadequately controlled angina
Pharmacology
- Inhibits fatty acid pathway
- Increases heart's energy efficiency
- Prevents angina pectoris
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose: 35 mg twice daily or 20 mg thrice daily during meals
- Assess treatment response after three months
Interaction
- No reported drug interactions
- No interactions with beta-blockers, calcium antagonists, nitrates, heparin, hypolipidemic agents, or digitalis preparation
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to active substance or excipients
- Parkinson's disease or symptoms
- Severe renal impairment
