Indications
- Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Treatment for inadequate response to TNF antagonist therapies
Pharmacology
- Selective inhibitor of Janus kinase JAK1 and JAK2
- Modulates signaling pathways by inhibiting JAK1 and JAK2 enzymatic activity
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended adult dose of 2 mg once daily
- May be used as monotherapy or in combination with Methotrexate or other DMARDs
- Can be given orally with or without food
- Not established for pediatric use
- Dose precautions for geriatric, hepatic, and renal impairment
Interaction
- Increased exposure when co-administered with strong OAT3 inhibitors
