Dosage
- Adult dosage - 40 mg once daily for 4 weeks (Erosive esophagitis)
- Maintenance of healing - 20 mg once daily
- 40-80 mg twice daily (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome)
Administration
Tablets should be swallowed whole with liquid or dispersed in non-carbonated water
Interaction
- Metabolized by CYP2C19 and CYP3A4 in liver
- No clinically relevant interactions with certain CYP enzymes
- Potential interference with CYP2C19
