Composition
- 0.5% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate
- 70% v/v Isopropyl Alcohol
- Pharmacological action: Bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect
Dosage & Administration
- Hand disinfection: 3 ml application and scrub until dried
- Instrument disinfection: 5 ml immersion for 2 minutes
- Skin disinfection: 3 ml application until dried
- Wound disinfection: 3 ml application until dried
Interaction
- Incompatible with soaps and anionic agents
- May cause brown stains on fabrics when in contact with hypochlorite bleaches
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidine Gluconate or any composition
