Indications

• Temporary relief for common cold symptoms
• Relieves non-productive cough

Composition

• Contains Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide BP
• Contains Phenylephrine Hydrochloride BP
• Contains Triprolidine Hydrochloride BP
• Each 5 ml syrup contains specified quantities

Pharmacology

• Combination of antitussive, decongestant, and antihistamine agent
• Dextromethorphan acts on cough center in the medulla
• Phenylephrine shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passage
• Triprolidine relieves symptoms of allergy, hay fever, and cold
• Triprolidine is a H1-receptor antagonist
