70% v/v Isopropyl Alcohol BP

Bactericidal effect is a result of the binding of positively charged chlorhexidine cation to negatively charged bacterial cell walls

Disinfect clean hand; contaminated materials: Take essential amount (Almost 3 ml) on hand and scrub both hands' full surface area until it is dried
Disinfect surgical instruments: Take essential amount (Almost 5 ml) in a clean pot and immerse instruments in it for 2 minutes
Disinfect skin prior to surgery or other invasive procedures: Take essential amount (Almost 3 ml) with cotton and scrub it on the skin until it is dried
Disinfect wound/wound dressing: Take essential amount (Almost 3 ml) with cotton and scrub it on the wound until it is dried

Incompatible with soaps and other anionic agents. Hypochlorite bleaches may cause brown stains to develop in fabrics previously in contact

Not to be used in patients who are Hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidine Gluconate or any composition to it

Safe for pregnant women. Safety during lactation is not known

Avoid contact with brain, meninges, middle ear, sensitive tissues and eyes. Do not inject or use in body cavities
