Indications
- Treatment of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses complicated by bacterial and fungal infections
- Treatment of tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis
- Treatment of acute and chronic eczema
Composition
- Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.5 mg/g
- Clotrimazole 10 mg/g
- Gentamicin Sulfate 1 mg/g
Pharmacology
- Combines anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive actions
- Broad-spectrum antifungal activity
- Wide-spectrum bactericidal antibiotic activity
Dosage & Administration
- Apply gently into affected skin areas twice daily
- Duration of therapy varies depending upon the extent and location of disease
Interaction
- Concomitant use with nephrotoxic drugs may increase the risk of toxicity
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with a history of sensitivity reactions to any of its components
Side Effects
- Adverse reactions include hypochromia, burning, erythema, exudation
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use during pregnancy only if potential benefit justifies potential risk to the fetus
Precautions & Warnings
- Do not combine with any other product containing corticosteroid
- Not for application to the face or contact with eyes
- Not for prolonged use, use in extensive areas, under an occlusive dressing, open wound, injured areas, exterior genital areas, or skin folds
