Description
- Bilfast is a non-sedating antihistamine that provides relief for symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, itching, swelling, and rashes associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and urticaria.
Dosage and administration
- 20 mg tablet for adults and adolescents
- 10 mg mouth dissolving tablet for children (6-11 years)
- 4 ml dose for children (2-11 years)
Interaction
- Concomitant use of Bilfast with ketoconazole, erythromycin, cyclosporine or diltiazem increases the concentration of Bilfast.
- No potentiation of CNS depressant effects of lorazepam with Bilfast
- Similar psychomotor performance with alcohol and 20 mg Bilfast
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients of the tablet
