Pharmacology
- Stable combination of L-Ornithine and L-Aspartate
- Conversion of toxic ammonia into non-toxic urea
- Regeneration of damaged liver cells
- Lowering elevated level of ammonia in blood
Dosage
- Sachet: Dissolve 1-2 sachets granules in a large amount of fluid and take orally 3 times a day during or after meals
- Injection (Infusion Concentrate): Recommended dose up to 20 gm (4 ampoules daily), up to 8 ampoules within 24 hours in severe conditions
Administration
- Can be added to any conventional intravenous fluids
- Normal dilution rate of 1 ampoule per 100 ml of I.V. fluid
- Maximum infusion rate of 5 gm/h

Side Effects
- Very rarely nausea and vomiting may occur, usually transient and do not necessitate drug withdrawal
