Indications
- Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhino conjunctivitis
- Symptomatic treatment of urticaria

Pharmacology
- Non-sedating histamine antagonist
- Selective high affinity to H1 receptor
- No affinity for other histamine receptor subtypes
- Excellent safety profile
- Favorable pharmacokinetic characteristics
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 20 mg tablet once daily
- Maximum recommended daily dose is 20 mg
- Children (6 to 11 years): 10 mg mouth dissolving tablet once daily
- Children (2 to 11 years): 4 ml once daily
Interaction
- Increased concentration with ketoconazole, erythromycin, cyclosporine or diltiazem
- No significant interaction with alcohol and lorazepam
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients
