Indications
- Topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis
- Topical treatment of tinea cruris
- Topical treatment of tinea corporis
- Caused by Trichophyton rubrum
- Caused by Epidermophyton floccosum
Pharmacology
- Topical antifungal agent
- Broad-spectrum antifungal agent
- Belongs to the azole group
- Inhibits the enzyme lanosterol demethylase
- Blocks ergosterol synthesis
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: once daily for two weeks for interdigital tinea pedis
- Adult dosage: once daily for one week for tinea cruris and tinea corporis
- Pediatric safety and effectiveness not established
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Luliconazole
