Interaction
- Chelation with tetracycline
- Interference with oral tetracycline antibiotics absorption
- Minimization of gastrointestinal discomfort by taking with meals
- Impairment of iron absorption by penicillamine and antacid concurrent administrations
- Risk of zinc accumulation in renal failure patients
Contraindications
- Patients with haemolytic anaemia
