Dosage & Administration

  • Diclofenac FC Tablet
  • 75-150 mg daily in 2 to 3 divided doses
  • Dose reduction in long term use
  • Diclofenac SR Tablet
  • Adult: 1 tablet daily
  • Taken whole with liquid
  • Daily dose can be increased to 150 mg
  • Diclofenac Dispersible Tablet
  • Adults: 2-3 tablets daily
  • Maximum daily dose: 150 mg
  • Diclofenac TR Capsule
  • One capsule daily
  • Diclofenac Suppository
  • For adults: 50 mg suppository 2-3 times daily
  • Maximum daily dose: 150 mg
  • Diclofenac injection
  • For adults: 1 ampoule daily
  • Maximum 2 ampoules daily in serious cases

Precautions & Warnings

  • Close observation for peptic ulceration or gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Close observation for elderly patients
  • Avoid contact with eyes or mucus membranes
  • Proper hand washing after application
  • Not to be taken by mouth
