Indications
- Antispasmodic actions in smooth muscle
- Treatment of gastrointestinal and genitourinary tract spasms
- Relief of spasmodic dysmenorrhea
- Treatment of intense gastrointestinal or biliary pain
- Diagnostic procedures in radiology and pyelography
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dosage for adults: 20mg four times a day
- Recommended dosage for children (6-12 years): 10mg three times a day or as directed by a physician
- Injection dosage for adults: 20mg (1 ampule) for muscle or nerve application, repeat if necessary 30 minutes later
Contraindications
- Prostatic hypertrophy
- Elderly patients
- Paralytic ileus or pyloric stenosis
- Glaucoma
- Pregnancy and lactation
Side Effects
- Dry mouth
- Mydriasis
- Flushing
- Dry skin
- Bradycardia and then tachycardia
- Fatigue
- Vomiting
- Dizziness and staggering
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use with caution in the first three months of pregnancy

- May cause drowsiness and mental alertness impairment
- Caution advised when operating vehicles or machinery
- Patients with glaucoma or cardiovascular disorders require special attention
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- Use with caution in combination with certain medications
Therapeutic Class

Reconstitution
- Can be reconstituted with Dextrose or 0.9% Sodium Chloride injection
