          • Not generally recommended for children younger than 12 years without medical advice
          • Should not be given to patients with phenylketonuria
          • Mask the symptoms of other serious, underlying medical conditions
          • Should not be used in patients with impaired renal function/insufficiency and with hypophosphatemia
