Indications
- Prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma
- Symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis
- Symptomatic treatment of conjunctivitis

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Maximum adult dosage: 2 mg twice daily
- Children above 3 years: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Starting dose for sedation-prone patients: 0.5-1 mg at night
Interaction
- Potentiation of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohols
- Reversible fall in platelet count with oral antidiabetic agents
Contraindications
- Avoiding use with oral antidiabetic agents
- Avoiding use during pregnancy and lactation due to lack of evidence of teratogenic effects

Precautions & Warnings
