Indications
- Maintenance of Pregnancy in cases of Threatened / Recurrent abortion
- Luteal support during IUI and ART procedures IVF-ET
- Luteal support in cases of proven luteal phase insufficiency
- Along with estrogen in post-menopausal hormone replacement therapy (HRT)

Pharmacology
- Contains micronised progesterone
- Maximal serum progesterone levels increased when administered after meals
- Approximately 96%-99% bound to serum proteins
- Metabolized to pregnanediols and pregnanolones in the liver
- Glucuronide and sulfate conjugates excreted in the bile and urine

Interaction
- Ketoconazole inhibits the metabolism of progesterone
