Indications
- Maintenance of Pregnancy in cases of Threatened / Recurrent abortion

Pharmacology
- Contains micronised progesterone
- Structurally and biologically identical to natural endogenous progesterone
- Increased bioavailability of progesterone with micronisation
- Metabolized to pregnanediols and pregnanolones in the liver
- Approximately 96%-99% bound to serum proteins
- Conjugates excreted in bile and urine
Dosage & Administration
- Usual recommended dose of Progesterone 100 mg/200 mg 2 to 3 soft gel capsules daily
- Flexible dosage regimen depending on the indication and patient's requirements
Interaction
- Inhibition of progesterone metabolism by ketoconazole
