Pharmacology
Histamine H2-receptor antagonist, inhibits gastric acid secretion
Dosage & Administration
- Tablet:
- Usual dose for adults: Famotidine 20 mg twice daily
- Famotidine 40 mg can be administered orally once daily at bedtime
- Powder for Suspension:
- Dosage based on age and condition
