Indications

Pharmacology
- Aceclofenac as a non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties
- Potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase
- Rapid and complete absorption after oral administration
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose for extended release tablet in adults: 200 mg daily
- Recommended dose for film coated tablet in adults: 100 mg twice daily
Interaction
- No significant drug interactions observed
- Close monitoring required when used with lithium and digoxin, diuretics, anticoagulants, and methotrexate
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to it
- Contraindicated in patients in whom aspirin or NSAIDs precipitate attacks of asthma
Side Effects

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Avoid in pregnancy and lactation unless potential benefits outweigh possible risks to the fetus

- Caution in patients with moderate to severe hepatic, cardiac, or renal impairment
- Caution in patients suffering from dizziness or urticaria
