Indications
- Treatment of hypertension
Pharmacology
- Olmesartan blocks vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin-II
- Hydrochlorothiazide increases Sodium and Chloride excretion
Dosage & Administration
- Starting dose is 20/12.5 mg once daily
- Dosing should be individualized
Interaction
- No significant drug interactions reported for Olmesartan
- Hydrochlorothiazide may interact with alcohol, barbiturates, narcotics, antidiabetic drugs, other antihypertensive drugs, corticosteroids, ACTH, and lithium
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to any component
- Contraindicated in patients with anuria or hypersensitivity to sulfonamide-derived drugs

Overdose Effects
