Mode of Action
Complex of iodine and an organic polymer, providing rapid microbicidal activity against various pathogens.
Dosage & Administration
- Apply once or twice daily for a maximum of 14 days
- Gargle or rinse with up to 10 mL for up to 30 seconds without swallowing
- Apply a light dusting of powder to the affected area
Interaction
- Interaction with strong alkali, sodium thiosulphate
- Use with concurrent lithium therapy may exhibit hypothyroidic effect
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity reactions
- Avoid in patients with thyroid disorders or receiving lithium therapy
- Not for use in serious cavities and in children under 2 years old

Pregnancy & Lactation
