Indications

Dosage & Administration

  • Oral route of administration
  • Usual initial antihypertensive oral dose of 2.5 mg once daily
  • Maximum dose of 5 mg once daily
  • Adjusted dosage for elderly or hepatically impaired patients
  • Titration steps with 7-14 days waiting period
  • Effective antihypertensive oral dose for pediatric patients ages 6-17 years

Contraindications

Pregnancy & Lactation

  • No observed adverse effects on breastfed infants
