DosageAdministration
- One tablet once or twice daily with plenty of water
- Dissolve 1 effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink orally

Interaction
- Thiazide diuretics impact on urinary excretion of Calcium
- Reduced calcium absorption with systemic corticosteroids
- Interference with the absorption of concomitantly administered tetracycline preparations
- Elevated risk of hypercalcaemia with simultaneous use of ion exchange resins and laxatives
- Possible increase in toxicity of cardiac glycosides during hypercalcaemia
- Need for time gap between calcium intake and concomitant bisphosphonate or sodium fluoride use
- Inhibition of calcium absorption by oxalic acid and phytic acid in specific foods

- Hypercalcemia and hyperparathyroidism
