Indications
- Treatment of gout

Pharmacology
- URAT1-selective urate reabsorption inhibitor
- Increases urinary urate excretion
- Lowers serum urate levels
- Selective inhibition of URAT1
- Weak inhibitory effects on ABCG2, OAT1 and OAT3
- Selective urate reabsorption inhibitor
Dosage & Administration
- Usual adult dosage: 0.5 mg of Dotinurad orally once daily
- Maintenance dose: 2 mg once a day, maximum dose: 4 mg once a day
- Gradual dose adjustment based on blood uric acid level
- Precautions for gouty arthritis induction
- Instructions for missing dose and overdose
Interaction
- Interaction with pyrazinamide
- Interaction with salicylic acid preparations (aspirin)
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug component
Side Effects
- Commonly reported side effects: gouty arthritis, limb discomfort
- Other reported side effects: loose stools, increased y-GTP, arthralgia, kidney stones, nephrocalcinosis, increased urinary y2 macroglobulin, increased blood creatinine, increased urine albumin/creatinine ratio, positive urine albumin
