Description

Gavisyn is indicated in gastric reflux, heartburn, indigestion, and flatulence associated with gastric reflux. It is a combination of two antacids (Calcium carbonate and Sodium bicarbonate) and an alginate (Sodium alginate) that works by neutralizing excess stomach acid and forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to soothe the burning pain in the chest. This product is contraindicated in patients with known or suspected hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients.
