Indications

Description
- Combines fusidic acid and betamethasone valerate
- Potent topical antibacterial activity
- Anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic activity
Pharmacology
- Effective against gram-positive bacteria
- Inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis
- Excretion in bile
- Dermal absorption
- Potency influenced by the delivery vehicle
Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 2 times daily for 2 weeks
- Shorter course if symptoms improve
- Not recommended for children under 3 years
Interaction
- Presence of corticosteroids in other topical medications
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in viral tuberculosis and fungal skin infections
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components
