Indications

  • Relief from dryness of eye
  • Relief from discomfort due to eye irritation
  • Protection from wind or sun exposure

Composition

  • Active Substance: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg
  • Preservative: Purite 0.0075%

Pharmacology

  • Ocular lubricant
  • Alleviation of dry eye syndrome symptoms
  • Long-lasting protection against dryness
  • Similar to normal tears
  • Mild & non-sensitising preservative
  • Increased retention time

Dosage & Administration

  • Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day
  • As needed

Interaction

  • Interval of at least 5 minutes between each application

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product

Side Effects

  • Burning
  • Eye Irritation or Pruritus
  • Visual disturbance
  • Ocular discharge

Pregnancy & Lactation

  • Safe use not established during pregnancy and lactation
  • Consult doctor if pregnant or breast-feeding

Precautions & Warnings

  • Administer concomitant ocular medication 15 minutes prior
  • Remove contact lenses before use
  • Avoid use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
  • Avoid tip contamination
  • Replace cap after each use

Use in Special Populations

  • Pediatric use: Not recommended for infants and small children under 3 years
  • Geriatric use: No overall differences in safety or effectiveness observed between elderly and other adult patients

Storage Conditions

  • Use within 30 days after opening
  • Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C
  • Store in a dry place
  • Protect from light
  • Close bottle tightly after use
  • Keep away from children
