Description
- Spasmolytic flavone derivative

Pharmacology
- Acts as a direct antagonist at muscarinic acetylcholine receptors
- Anticholinergic-parasympatholytic action
- Reduces tonus of smooth muscle in the bladder
Dosage & Administration
- 100 mg to 200 mg 3 times a day for adults and children over 12 years of age
- Dose may be reduced with improvement of symptoms
- Safety and effectiveness not established in children below the age of 12 years
Contraindications
- Pyloric or duodenal obstruction
- Obstructive intestinal lesions or ileus
- Achalasia
- Gastrointestinal hemorrhage
- Obstructive uropathies of the lower urinary tract
