Indications
- Steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions

Pharmacology
- Corticosteroid action by inducing phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins
- Inhibition of prostaglandins and leukotrienes biosynthesis
- Bactericidal activity by inhibiting protein synthesis of bacteria
Dosage & Administration
- Shake well before use
- Apply one drop into the conjunctival sac every 4-6 hours
- Dosing may be increased during initial 24 to 48 hours
Interaction
- Topical administration not expected to affect systemic pharmacokinetics of other drugs
Contraindications
- Viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients or corticosteroids

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use in pregnancy if potential benefit justifies potential risk to fetus
- Exercise caution during lactation
Precautions & Warnings
- Ophthalmic use only
- Monitor intraocular pressure if used for 10 days or longer
- Risk of fungal infections with prolonged steroid use
- Overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms may occur
- Cross-sensitivity to other aminoglycoside antibiotics
