Description

  • Recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO)
  • Expressed in Chinese hamster ovary cells
  • Identical to human urinary EPO in amino acid sequence
  • Apparent molecular weight of erythropoietin: 30,400 daltons

  • Evaluation of Iron Stores and Nutritional Factors
  • Monitoring hemoglobin levels

Administration

Contraindications

  • Uncontrolled hypertension
  • Serious allergic reactions to Erythropoietin alfa
  • Pure Red Cell Aplasia (PRCA) following treatment with any erythropoietin
