Indications

Dosage
- Oral dosage form
- Healing of Erosive Esophagitis: 20 mg or 40 mg Once Daily for 4-8 Weeks
- Symptomatic GERD: 20 mg Once Daily for 4 Weeks
- IV Injection or IV infusion for GERD with Erosive Esophagitis
- Pediatric Patients dosing based on body weight
- Risk reduction of rebleeding of Gastric or Duodenal Ulcers in adults
- Dosage for Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, Acid-related Dyspepsia, and Duodenal ulcer
Administration
- Tablet or capsule should be swallowed whole
- Oral Suspension should be taken as per instructions
- IV Injection: Intravenously over a period of at least 3 minutes
Interaction
- Extensive metabolism in the liver
- Inhibition of CYP2C19 and CYP3A4 by Esoxium
- Potential interference with the absorption of certain drugs
- Combination Therapy with Clarithromycin elevates plasma levels

- Known hypersensitivity to any of the formulation
