Indications

Relieves irritation and discomfort
Relieves dryness of the eyes
Relieves discomfort due to exposure to wind or sun

Composition

Active Substance: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium USP 10 mg per ml
Preservative: Purite 0.0075%

Pharmacology

Alleviates symptoms of moderate to severe dry eye syndromes
Provides long-lasting protection against dryness and irritation
Acts as a lubricating formulation similar to normal tears
Incorporates a mild & non-sensitising preservative

Dosage & Administration

Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day or as needed

Interaction

Interval of at least 5 minutes required between each application when multiple medicines are to be administered to the eye

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient

Pregnancy & Lactation

Safe use not established during pregnancy and lactation
Consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding

Precautions & Warnings

Concomitant ocular medication should be administered 15 minutes prior
Remove contact lenses before use
Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy
Avoid touching container tip to surfaces to prevent contamination
Replace cap after each use

Use in Special Populations

Not recommended for infants and small children under 3 years
No observed differences in safety or effectiveness in elderly patients

Use within 30 days after first opening
Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C
