Indications
- Treatment of advanced carcinoma of the ovary
- Adjuvant treatment of node-positive breast cancer
- First-line therapy of advanced or metastatic breast cancer
- First-line treatment of non-small cell lung cancer
- Second line treatment of AIDS-related Kaposi's Sarcoma
Pharmacology
- Promotes microtubule assembly
- Stabilizes microtubules
- Induces abnormal arrays of microtubules
- Inhibits dynamic reorganization of microtubule network

- Premedication required before administration
- Recommended dosages for ovarian cancer, breast carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, Kaposi's Sarcoma
- Dose adjustment based on individual patient tolerance
