Description

• Belongs to the macrolides group of antibiotics
• Bacteriostatic or bactericidal action
• Treatment of infections caused by penicillinase producing staphylococci
• Susceptibility to specific micro-organisms
• Inhibition of microsomal protein synthesis

• Inhibition of translocation process
• Specific binding to 50S subunit or 70S ribosome
