Indications
- Treatment of hypertension

Pharmacology
- Combination of Telmisartan and Amiodipine
- Telmisartan is a non-peptide angiotensin receptor blocker

Dosage & Administration
- Usual starting dose of 40/5 mg once daily
- Larger blood pressure reductions with 80/5 mg once daily
- Add-on Therapy for patients not controlled with single agents

- Maximum recommended dose of 80/10 mg once daily

Use in Special Populations

- Initial therapy not recommended for patients over 75 years old
- Initial therapy not recommended for hepatically impaired patients
