Indications
- Active immunization against pneumococcal disease
- Recommended for children aged 2 years, adolescents, and adults
Pharmacology
- Prepared from purified pneumococcal capsular polysaccharide antigens
- Derived from 23 serotypes accounting for approximately 90% of invasive pneumococcal disease types
Dosage & Administration
- 0.5 mL dose
- 25 micrograms of each of the 23 pneumococcal polysaccharide serotypes
- Administered by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection
- Recommended primary vaccination for adults and children of 2 years of age or older

Interaction
