Pharmacology
- Long acting ß2 adrenergic receptor agonist
- Stimulates ß2 receptor
- Relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle
- Inhibition of release of endogenous spasmogens
- Increased mucocilliary clearance
Dosage & Administration
- Children 2-5 years: 10 mg (10 ml syrup)
- Children 6-12 years: 10-20 mg (10-20 ml syrup)
- Adults: 10-20 mg initial dose, may increase after 1-2 weeks
