Indications
- Drug therapy as adjunct to diet

Pharmacology
- Atorvastatin lowers plasma cholesterol
- Ezetimibe inhibits cholesterol absorption
- Molecular target of ezetimibe is NPC1L1
Dosage & Administration
- Dosage range: 10/10 mg to 80/20 mg daily
- Recommended starting dose: 10/10 mg or 20/10 mg daily
- Dosage adjustment based on lipid levels analysis
Interaction
- Increased risk of myopathy with concurrent fibric acid derivatives
- Coadministration with cyclosporine should be avoided
- Enhanced risk of skeletal muscle effects with niacin combination

- Active liver disease
- Hypersensitivity to any component
