Description

• Dexnaaf is a proton pump inhibitor used for the treatment of erosive esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and heartburn.

Indications

• Healing of Erosive Esophagitis
• Maintenance of Healed Erosive Esophagitis
• Symptomatic Non-Erosive Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease

Pharmacology

• Proton Pump Inhibitor
• Suppression of Gastric Acid Secretion
• Dual Delayed Release (DDR) Formulation
• Metabolism in the Liver
• Excretion by Urine

Dosage

• 30 mg Once Daily for Maintenance of Healed Erosive Esophagitis
• 30 mg Once Daily for Symptomatic Non-Erosive GERD
• 60 mg Once Daily for Healing of Erosive Esophagitis

Administration

• Can be Taken Without Regard to Food
• Swallowed Whole
• Open Capsule and Sprinkle Intact Granules for Alternative Administration

Interaction

• With Atazanavir
• With Warfarin
• With Tacrolimus
• With Clopidogrel
• With Methotrexate

• Known Hypersensitivity to Any Component of the Formulation
