Interaction
- Beta blocking agents: Not recommended for combination use
- Catecholamine depleting drugs: Close monitoring required
- Centrally active antihypertensive agents: Withdraw β-blocker several days before discontinuing clonidine
- Antiarrhythmic agents: Use with care when myocardial depressants or inhibitors of A-V conduction are used
- Calcium channel blockers: Combined use can lead to prolongation of S-A and A-V conduction
