Indications

• Treatment of superficial infections
• Burns treatment
• Wound and ulceration regeneration
• Otitis externa treatment
• Postoperative infections treatment
• Neuro-dermatitis treatment
• Eczema treatment
• Adjunct to systemic steroid therapy

Pharmacology

• Active topical corticosteroid
• Rapid response in inflammatory dermatoses
• Cures psoriasis
• Broad-spectrum bactericidal amino-glycoside
• Effective against gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens
• Effective penetration and distribution capacity
• Effective for wet ulceration

Dosage & Administration

• Application to affected skin as a thin layer
• 3 to 4 times daily for adults
• Gradual withdrawal in chronic conditions
• Not recommended for children under 1 year
• Maximum 5-day course for children

• No significant drug interactions reported

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to components
• Not for perforated eardrum
• Not for skin lesions caused by viruses and fungi

Side Effects

• Well tolerated in general
• Potential side effects with prolonged and high doses
• Including Cushing's syndrome, acne, thinning and dilatation of blood vessels

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Not for extensive use in pregnancy

Precautions & Warnings

• Avoid long term continuous topical therapy
• Accurate dose in infected areas only
