Indications
- Topical treatment of impetigo
- Treatment of folliculitis
- Treatment of furunculosis
Pharmacology
- Mupirocin is a naturally occurring antibiotic
- Active against a wide range of bacteria
- Bactericidal at concentrations achieved by topical administration
Dosage & Administration
- Apply to affected area 3 times daily for up to 10 days
- Safe and effective for age range of 2 months to 16 years

Contraindications
- Contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity reactions to Mupirocin or any of the components

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Limited clinical experience during pregnancy

Precautions & Warnings
- Not for ophthalmic or intra-nasal use
- May result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms with prolonged use
- Avoid use on the face near the eyes
- Not suitable in conjunction with cannulae
- Discontinue usage in case of sensitization or severe local irritation
