Indications

Pharmacology
- Antibacterial agent
- Produced by fermentation
- Active against Staphylococcus aureus
- Active against Streptococcus pyogenes
- Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis
- Bactericidal at concentrations achieved by topical administration
Dosage & Administration
- Apply 3 times daily
- For up to 10 days
- Established safety and effectiveness for 2 months to 16 years age range

- Should be avoided near the eyes
- Not suitable for use with cannulae or at the site of central venous cannulation
- Discontinue usage in case of sensitization or severe local irritation
