Indications
- Relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis
- Relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis
Pharmacology
- Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)
- Exhibits anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties
- Mode of action not fully known
- Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis
Dosage & Administration
- Available in 500 mg & 750 mg tablets
- Recommended starting dose is 1000 mg
- Can be given in single or twice-daily dose
- Maximum doses for renal insufficiency

Interaction
- May diminish antihypertensive effect of ACE-inhibitors
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to nabumetone or its excipients
- Patients with aspirin or NSAID hypersensitivity
