Indications
- Prophylaxis and symptomatic treatment of certain allergic ocular disorders
- Relief of itching, tearing, redness, and discharge
Pharmacology
- Inhibits release of chemical mediators from sensitized mast cells
- Modulates allergic response to antigen-antibody interactions
- Acts mainly through a local effect on the mucous of the eye
Dosage & Administration
- Usual dosage in adults and children over 4 years of age is 1 or 2 drops in each eye 4-6 times daily

- No known drug interactions
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug or any of the ingredients
Side Effects
- Transient ocular stinging or burning upon instillation of the drug
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Insufficient evidence to establish safety in pregnancy
- Should be used with caution in nursing women
Precautions & Warnings
- Contains benzalkonium chloride
- Patients should not wear soft contact lenses during treatment
Overdose Effects
- Overdose is unlikely
- Symptomatic treatment is recommended in the event of accidental ingestion

Storage Conditions
