Indications
- Prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma

Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 mg twice daily with food, dosage may be increased to 2 mg twice daily in severe cases
- Children above 3 years: 1 mg twice daily with food, lower initial dose for easily sedated patients
- Use in elderly: Same as adult dose or as advised by the physician
Interaction
- Potentiation of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohols
- Reversible fall in platelet count when concomitantly used with oral antidiabetic agents
Contraindications
- Avoid concomitant use with oral antidiabetic agents
- No specific recommendations for use in pregnancy or during breastfeeding

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation due to lack of evidence regarding teratogenic effects
Precautions & Warnings
- Continue previous treatment for at least two weeks after starting Fenat

- Avoid alcoholic drinks
- Potentiation of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohol
