Indications
- Prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma

Interaction
- Potentiation of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohols
- Reversible fall in platelet count with oral antidiabetic agents
Contraindications
- Avoidance of concomitant use with oral antidiabetic agents
- Recommendation against use in pregnancy or when breastfeeding
