Indications
- Prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma
- Symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions including rhinitis and conjunctivitis
- Alleviating the complications of itching, pain, and tenderness associated with neurofibroma

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Children above 3 years: 1 mg twice daily with food
- Use in elderly: Same as adult dose or as advised by the physician
Interaction
- Potentiate the effects of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohols
- Reversible fall in the platelet count observed in a few patients
Contraindications
- Reversible fall in platelet count observed in a few patients receiving concomitant oral antidiabetic agent

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation
Precautions & Warnings
- Continue previous treatment for a minimum of two weeks after starting Toti
- Avoid alcoholic drinks
- May potentiate the effects of sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, and alcohol
